– Diamond Head Crater

Diamond Head has some of the best views on the island. It is located on the other side of Waikiki Beach and there is a large parking area at the base of the volcano crater that would be ideal for setting up for an evening of stargazing.

Due to all the lights from the city, you may not be able to see stars all the time, especially when it’s a full moon. However, on darker nights, you’ll certainly see quite a few stars shining bright.

The darker the area the better your view of the stars will be. These spots will give you a good view with less light so you can see everything in the night sky. You can explore the island or ask locals or astronomers where some good spots might be that were not covered previously
